This is your genuine all around pony that has been to shows, horse trials, gymkhanas, pony club games, drives a cart, used as a lesson pony, jumps, goes western and english, trail rides, and has had numerous kids on and around him. Of course he ties, clips, loads, bathes no problem. He is a real sweetheart for your kids. Currently being ridden by a 11 yr old girl and a 7 yr old boy. Great size for leadline classes and for your child to grow into. He has many years to offer another kid! Quarter-type pony, unregistered. Goes barefoot and has very hardy feet and legs. No blemishes or unsoundnesses. Spike is perceptive to beginner riders outside of an arena and will take advantage of them. Inside an arena he is very well behaved for beginner riders. Boys are great with him because he can take their temperaments and tolerates them quite well. More advanced riders (comparable to D3 riders in pony club) should be able to ride him outside of an arena with no problem.
